About The Opportunity
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a leading mining service provider to recruit a Financial Analyst to join their growing FP&A team on a permanent basis.
This role is based in Nambour and will require the successful applicant to be based in the office 5 days a week.
What You Will Do:
- Act as the key liaison between corporate finance and operations, ensuring accurate and consistent financial communication.
- Develop and maintain financial models to track costs, profitability, and key performance indicators, supported by insightful analysis.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and audit processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including project management, procurement, payroll, and finance—to support effective cost tracking and billing.
- Drive process improvements to strengthen financial reporting, internal controls, and system efficiency.
- Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting while building strong relationships with site teams through regular engagement.
What You Will Bring:
- Qualifications in accounting or finance
- CPA or CA designation (or working toward one) highly regarded
- Previous experience in a similar FP&A role
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach
