About the role:
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is seeking an experienced Environmental Superintendent / Senior Advisor on a casual 3 – 4-month contract for a coal mining operation. In this role, you will:
- Oversee and manage environmental compliance and monitoring activities at a coal mining site.
- Provide expert environmental advice and support to operations and management teams.
- Lead environmental audits, reporting, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to implement environmental management plans and mitigation strategies.
- Support environmental incident investigations and develop corrective actions.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as an Environmental Advisor in a coal mining operation.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and industry best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
