Alchemy is partnering with a large mining contracting company who seeking an experienced Planning and Reliability Superintendent to lead mobile plant reliability and maintenance planning activities across a key site operation. Working closely with the Maintenance Superintendent, you’ll be responsible for optimising plant performance through proactive planning, reliability improvement, and technical leadership.
About the role:
- Lead a team of Planners, Reliability Engineers, and Specialists.
- Drive effective maintenance planning and scheduling activities.
- Monitor reliability data, oil sampling, and product performance trends.
- Manage upgrades, defect resolution, and equipment performance strategies.
- Champion a positive safety and risk culture across the maintenance team.
- Ensure cost control, timely parts return, and compliance with site SHMS.
- Mentor team members and enforce competency and certification standards.
What we’re looking for:
- Trade qualification in mobile Plant Mechanics or relevant Engineering degree.
- Proven experience in a similar mobile reliability/maintenance planning role working in a mining or similar heavy industry
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team coordination skills.
