Call Centre Agent

About the company:

Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is seeking Call Centre Agent on a casual contract basis for a Local Queensland Council located in South Brisbane.
  
About this role:

In this role, you will be the first point of contact helping members of the community with their enquiries across phone, face-to-face and emails. You’ll be part of a supportive and fast-paced environment where every interaction makes a difference.

  • Handle community enquiries and service requests across multiple channels
  • Provide clear, helpful and accurate information to residents
  • Process transactions and maintain detailed records
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex queries
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing customer insights

  
What we’re looking for:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous customer service experience, ideally in a contact centre or public-facing role
  • Confidence using computer systems and navigating multiple platforms
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage high call volumes
  • A team player mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Government experience
