Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a leading mining business to secure a Finance Administrator for a 6–12 month casual contract, based on site within the Mackay Coalfields.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable exposure in the mining sector while supporting key financial and administrative functions on site.
This role is offered as DIDO from Mackay region, or FIFO from Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day finance and administrative support to site operations
- Assist with processing invoices, purchase orders, and expense reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and data entry in internal systems
- Support month-end reporting and compliance requirements
- Liaise with site teams and head office to ensure smooth financial processes
About You:
- Previous experience in finance administration or accounts support, ideally within mining, resources, or heavy industry
- Strong attention to detail with excellent data entry and organisational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and finance/ERP systems
- Ability to work effectively in a site-based environment and build strong working relationships
- Current driver’s licence and ability to travel to site as required
