Finance Officer | Part-time

Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a local mining operation to secure an experienced Finance Officer to join their onsite team in Moranbah. This is a part-time position (15–18 hours per week), offering flexibility around days worked.

About the Role:
Reporting to the onsite leadership team, you will support day-to-day financial activities including OPEX and cost reporting, general bookkeeping, and asset reporting. You’ll also assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles and provide administrative support where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operational expenditure (OPEX) tracking and cost reporting
  • Perform general bookkeeping and financial record maintenance
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Support reporting and management of depreciating assets
  • Prepare and maintain financial data using SAP and Excel
  • Provide other administrative and finance support as required

About You:

  • Previous experience in a Finance, Accounts, or Bookkeeping role (resources sector experience advantageous)
  • Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
