The Role
As the People & Culture Business Partner, you will work closely with leaders across the organisation to provide high-level guidance across the full employee life cycle. You’ll play a key role in lifting leadership capability, supporting organisational development initiatives, and enabling a culture grounded in respect, collaboration, and wellbeing.

Key areas of focus include:

• Providing expert advice across employee and industrial relations matters
• Coaching leaders to manage performance, development, and change
• Supporting workforce planning, talent management and recruitment activities
• Leading and supporting workplace investigations and grievance matters
• Contributing to organisational development, engagement and wellbeing programs
• Driving continuous improvement and best practice HR service delivery

About You You will be a confident HR Business Partner who enjoys working closely with people leaders and brings a collaborative, solutions-focused approach. You will also have:

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience managing sensitive and complex people matters
• Knowledge of employment legislation, industrial instruments and contemporary HR practice
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
• A degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field (essential)

Experience in local government or a large, diverse organisation will be highly regarded, though not essential.
