Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a respected council to source an enthusiastic and organised People Experience Support Officer to join their People & Capability team. This role plays a key part in supporting the delivery of high-quality HR services through efficient administration, customer service, and coordination across HR processes.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing HR administrative support including preparing and processing employment documentation.
• Managing incoming and outgoing communication, responding to routine queries and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Updating and maintaining HRIS records and supporting users with basic system queries.
• Building positive working relationships with internal stakeholders to support effective HR service delivery.
• Contributing to a high-performance, customer-focused team environment.
• Handling confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy.

What you’ll bring

• Strong administration, organisation and time-management skills.
• Experience in HR support, office administration or a similar function (2+ years desirable).
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, with the ability to draft correspondence and work with data.
• Experience using databases or HRIS platforms, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively, use initiative, and exercise sound judgement.
