Reliability & Planning Superintendent (Mobile/field/ancillary)

We’re currently supporting the search for an experienced Reliability & Planning Superintendent to lead work management and reliability strategy across mobile, field and ancillary mining fleets.
This is a senior site-based role requiring strong technical capability, disciplined planning practices and the ability to lead and influence teams across maintenance and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end work management process – scoping, planning, scheduling, backlog and shutdown preparation
- Develop and maintain high-quality job plans and priority management
- Drive planning and scheduling discipline through SAP/CMMS and accurate work coding
- Lead reliability strategy across mobile, field and ancillary fleets
- Conduct RCAs, optimise PM strategies and improve component life and availability
- Partner closely with maintenance, operations, warehouse and OEMs
- Manage maintenance budgets, forecasting and cost control
- Set clear objectives, KPIs and performance standards
- Lead, mentor and develop planning and reliability teams
- Promote strong safety leadership and proactive critical-risk management
About You
- Extensive experience in maintenance planning, scheduling and reliability within mining or heavy industry
- Proven ability to improve equipment reliability and fleet performance
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or significant trade and planning experience
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to influence stakeholders
- High commercial and lifecycle asset management focus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced SAP/CMMS capability (work management, history and reporting)
- Clear communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Continuous improvement mindset
