Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a leading mining organisation to source an experienced Contracts Specialist to support a major construction project linked to a mine based in QLD.
This is a Brisbane-based role offering an initial 6-month temporary assignment, ideal for a contracts professional with strong exposure to major or mega-scale construction projects within mining, resources or heavy industry.
About the Role Reporting into the commercial team, you will play a key role in the administration and management of high-value construction contracts, supporting project delivery and ensuring commercial risk is well managed.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Contract administration across large-scale construction packages
- Supporting tendering, variations, claims and commercial negotiations
- Managing contractor performance and compliance
- Providing commercial advice to project stakeholders
- Ensuring alignment with internal governance and contractual obligations
About You To be successful, you will bring:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Specialist / Contracts Administrator on major or mega construction projects
- Background within mining, resources, infrastructure or heavy industrial projects
- Strong working knowledge of construction contracts
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced project environment
