The Role

An experienced Contracts & Projects Superintendent is required to manage service contracts, capital projects and contractor performance across the operation.

Reporting to the Maintenance & Projects Manager, you will ensure projects and contracts are delivered safely, on time and within budget while supporting reliable mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage site service and maintenance contracts
• Lead contract tendering, negotiation and administration
• Oversee contractor performance, safety and compliance
• Manage capital and maintenance project delivery
• Monitor project budgets, cost control and reporting
• Work closely with operations, engineering and commercial teams

Experience Required

• 5 + Experience managing contracts or projects within mining or heavy industry
• Strong understanding of maintenance or operational environments
• Proven ability managing contractors and stakeholders
• Strong commercial, financial and negotiation skills
• Degree, diploma or trade background with relevant experience

Roster & Location

Roster: Monday – Friday 5:2 / 5:3 (9-Day Fortnight)
Location: Bowen Basin, Queensland

FIFO
Fly in Monday morning
Fly out Thursday afternoon (~12:00pm)
Flights provided from East Coast home ports between Cairns and Brisbane

DIDO
Available for candidates within a 4-hour driving radius
