About the Opportunity
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a leading mining operation to source an experienced HR Advisor for a FIFO-based role supporting remote site operations. This is a hands-on, generalist position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and is confident working closely with site leadership teams.
This role will see you providing end-to-end HR support across a complex, regulated mining environment, contributing directly to workforce performance, culture, and compliance outcomes. This role is FIFO on an 8/6 roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical HR advice and coaching to supervisors and site leadership on employee relations, performance management, and workplace matters
- Support and lead workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, and case management
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation, policies, and site procedures
- Partner with operational leaders to drive employee engagement and performance outcomes
- Assist in organisational design, workforce planning, and reporting
- Support injury management and return-to-work processes in collaboration with WHS teams
- Contribute to HR projects, change initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
About You
- Previous mine site experience is essential (non-negotiable)
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role within mining, heavy industry, or remote environments
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations, investigations, and performance matters
- Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Highly adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working in a FIFO environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, Psychology, Law, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3+ years’ HR generalist experience
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Full Australian working rights
