An established marine and civil construction business is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to support projects across Western Australia.
This is a project-based, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being on site, working closely with project teams, and providing both leadership and assurance across a diverse portfolio of works.
About the Role:
Reporting into senior operations leadership, you will provide safety governance and frontline safety leadership across multiple projects. Some projects will have a dedicated Safety Advisor (reporting to the Project Manager), while others will rely on you as the lead safety resource.
You’ll spend time across WA project sites as required. When not site-based, you’ll be supported from a Subiaco office base.

- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk reviews
- Lead or support incident investigations and corrective action processes
- Drive practical, site-based safety improvements
- Support training, toolbox talks, and safety engagement activities
About You:
You’re a practical, field-focused safety professional who isn’t afraid to roll up your sleeves. You’re comfortable travelling, enjoy working with construction and site teams, and can adapt your approach depending on project needs.
You’ll bring:
- Strong experience in construction, marine, or civil safety environments
- Confidence operating across multiple projects with varying safety structures
- Solid knowledge of WA WHS legislation and contractor management
- The ability to influence, challenge, and support site leaders
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset
Requirements
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
- 7+ years’ WHS experience in construction or related industries
- Current driver’s licence
- Willingness to travel across WA
What’s on Offer
