Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is currently partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit a Management Accountant for an initial 6-month casual contract based in the Brisbane CBD. This opportunity will see you working closely with key stakeholders across the business, providing accurate financial reporting and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
The Role
As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial information, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and partnering with the business to drive performance. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across both financial reporting and commercial analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management reports, including variance analysis and commentary
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
- Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insights and performance analysis
- Assist with cost control, financial modelling and process improvement initiatives
About You
- Proven experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data clearly
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a collaborative approach
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (CA/CPA desirable)
