Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a leader in the mining sector to appoint a Senior HR Advisor. Our client is an established, long-life mining operation in Central NSW, forming part of a broader ASX-listed mid-tier base and precious metals producer.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the HR Manager, the Senior HR Advisor will be a trusted partner to operational leaders, providing expert People & Culture guidance across the site’s mining operations. From employee relations and performance management to workforce planning, remuneration, workplace conduct, and policy advice, you’ll help leaders navigate complex people matters while driving a culture of performance, accountability, and engagement.
This role is offered on a FIFO basis from Brisbane, on a 12-month fixed term contract.
What You Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Strong understanding of employment legislation and enterprise agreements, with the ability to interpret and apply them confidently
- Experience in a Senior HR or Advisory role within mining or heavy industry (desirable)
- Exposure to enterprise agreement negotiations (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
