We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor – Project Controls to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects within a large and complex project environment.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working closely with project teams to provide oversight across cost, schedule, and performance while helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently and with strong financial and reporting discipline.
What you’ll do:
- Support project teams with cost, schedule and performance monitoring across major infrastructure works
- Assist in maintaining project budgets, forecasts and financial tracking, ensuring visibility of project performance
- Analyse project progress and contractor performance against established plans and milestones
- Contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of project controls processes and reporting frameworks
- Provide clear reporting and insights to support decision-making by project leadership
- Work closely with delivery teams to track project progress, identify risks and highlight emerging issues
- Support the preparation of performance reports, forecasts and project dashboards
- Assist with maintaining project records including cost data, commitments and progress information
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in project controls, project support, cost control or project performance monitoring
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting and financial tracking
- Ability to analyse project data and communicate key insights to project teams and stakeholders
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills with experience preparing clear and professional reports
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working on large infrastructure, construction or engineering projects will be highly regarded
