Architecture Outcome Lead

We are seeking an experienced Architecture Outcome Lead to provide architectural leadership across complex technology initiatives, with a strong focus on modernising legacy platforms through event-driven design.

This role suits someone who enjoys shaping outcomes, guiding delivery teams, and translating business intent into scalable, future-ready architectures.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead solution architecture from early concept through to delivery, ensuring alignment with enterprise roadmaps and principles
  • Shape event-driven approaches that enable loosely coupled integration and near real-time data flows
  • Define logical architectures and guide physical design decisions across complex system landscapes
  • Provide architectural governance and design assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Partner closely with delivery teams to support incremental modernisation of legacy systems
  • Assess transition options and support pragmatic, risk-aware architecture decisions
  • Influence standards, patterns, and practices that improve long-term platform sustainability

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in solution or enterprise architecture within complex environments
  • Practical knowledge of event-driven architecture and asynchronous integration patterns
  • Experience guiding delivery teams through modernisation or platform transformation initiatives
  • Ability to balance strategic architecture thinking with hands-on delivery support
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence without authority
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, contemporary integration approaches, and modern development practices
  • Experience using architecture modelling techniques and notations (e.g. logical views, capability models)
