About the role:
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is seeking a skilled Business Improvement Officer on a casual contract for a Queensland Local Government organisation.
In this role, you will:
- Support ongoing improvements within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office
- Analyse data and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
- Assist in planning and delivering projects on time and within budget
- Track and report on project progress and organisational performance metrics
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, simplifying complex information for clear understanding
- Manage communication channels to maintain consistent stakeholder engagement and support project governance
- Encourage and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation
What we’re looking for:
- Experience contributing to business process improvements i
- Knowledge of project, program and portfolio management principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for reporting and stakeholder interaction
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Qualifications in business management, project management or a related field
- Certifications in change management or agile methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ITIL) are advantageous
