Are you an experienced Civil Supervisor looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills on DTMR civil projects? Join our reputable Tier 3 civil contractor client and be part of their dynamic team delivering high-quality projects across the SEQ region.
Role & Responsibilities:
In this role, you would be working for a highly reputable major civil company, coordinating and leading civil projects with your expertise in main roads. DIDO position on a 5/2 roster, operating across multiple projects in SEQ with the option to drive from Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast or surrounding areas.
- Coordinate and manage site activities, including supervising subcontractors, labourers, and equipment operators.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions to maintain project schedule and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to project specifications and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, and safety records.
Skills & experience:
- TMR/DTMR main roads project experience required.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering civil construction projects within the allocated timeframes and budget.
- Strong knowledge of earthworks and urban construction techniques, industry best practices, and relevant codes and regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team of subcontractors and labourers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project stakeholders, clients, and team members effectively.
- A valid driver’s license and relevant certifications in construction and safety standards.
