About The Opportunity
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a reputable energy organisation to join for a Cloud Engineer to join their team on an initial 5-month contract with highly likelihood of extension.
This is an operational role where you will work closely with vendor to support the daily operations of our cloud environment and assist with project work as needed. This role focuses on Business As Usual (BAU) tasks, ensuring cloud services remain secure, reliable, and compliant.
- Perform routine health checks, backups, monitoring, and security compliance
- Manage vendors and service providers, including issue tracking and SLA reviews
- Support cloud deployments, configurations, testing, and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to align services with IT strategy
- Contribute to process and tool improvement
What You Will Bring:
- 4+ years of experience as Cloud Engineer
- Experience in vendor coordination
- Strong technical capability in Azure cloud environment and M265
- Broader technical knowledge in firewall, network switches, monitoring system etc
