Construction Manager – Execution Readiness – Early Works Coordinator
3-Month Contract | Brisbane | Requiring someone with Greenfield experience
An opportunity is available for an experienced Project Execution / Early Works Coordinator to support execution readiness for an emerging mining project as it progresses through the Feasibility Study phase.
This initial 3-month contract will suit a hands-on project professional with strong mining project experience across civil earthworks, contractor mobilisation and early works planning.
The Role
Working closely with the project team, you will help develop and coordinate the early works strategy and ensure key contractors, work fronts and interfaces are ready for execution.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Access road upgrade planning and execution readiness
- Clear and grub and bulk earthworks contractor mobilisation planning
- Contractor site establishment and logistics planning
- Crushing and screening plant establishment
- Load and haul road planning
- TSF and water dam contractor establishment
- Work-front and contractor interface planning
- Site boundary and execution interface coordination
- Development of preliminary Project Execution Plan (PEP) documentation
- Preparation of supporting execution readiness plans and documentation
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous mining project execution experience
- Strong civil earthworks/greenfield and early works exposure
- Experience coordinating contractor mobilisation and site establishment
- Sound understanding of work-front, interface and execution planning
- Strong planning and organisational capability
- Excellent written communication and project documentation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and quickly bring structure to an evolving project
Experience supporting mining projects through feasibility into execution/early works will be highly regarded.
