About the Opportunity
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is proud to be partnering with a global mining firm assisting their search for an experienced Contracts Admin. This role is offered as a 7-month contract, covering a secondment within the business.
  
This role is hybrid, working three days in the Brisbane CBD and two days work from home.
  
Successful applicants must have full work rights in Australia and be currently based within Australia, overseas applicants will unfortunately not be considered for this opportunity.
  
Your next role:
As a Contracts Admin you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of established maintenance contracts with administrative improvement projects to supplement.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure adherence to the Contractor Management Framework (CMF) across all contractual obligations.
  • Participate in and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen relationships across the supply chain.
  • Oversee contract performance at all levels, ensuring alignment with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and escalate contractual issues to appropriate stakeholders and support the coordination and resolution process.
  • Manage contract variation and amendment documentation, ensuring proper review and approval in line with company policies.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to support the creation and development of new contracts.
  • Track actual spend and forecast future requirements under contract to enable proactive contract management.
  • Lead and support initiatives aimed at continuous business improvement.
  • Promote and enforce compliance with asset-level governance requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify current and potential risks, including the development of continuity plans.

About you:

  • Proven experience in contracts management
  • Previous experience using SAP.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
