Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is seeking Call Centre Agent on a casual contract basis for a Local Queensland Council located in South Brisbane.
About this role:
In this role, you will be the first point of contact helping members of the community with their enquiries across phone, face-to-face and emails. You’ll be part of a supportive and fast-paced environment where every interaction makes a difference.
- Handle community enquiries and service requests across multiple channels
- Provide clear, helpful and accurate information to residents
- Process transactions and maintain detailed records
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex queries
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing customer insights
What we’re looking for:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous customer service experience, ideally in a contact centre or public-facing role
- Confidence using computer systems and navigating multiple platforms
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage high call volumes
- A team player mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
- Government experience
