Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is proud to be partnering with a Government Owned Corporation to recruit a Finance Systems Accountant / Analyst to join their Finance Planning & Analysis team based in Brisbane.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance systems professional to play a key role in optimising financial systems, enhancing reporting, and driving process improvements across a large and complex business.
About the Role
As the Finance Systems Accountant, you will be the critical link between Finance, ICT, and the wider business to ensure the accuracy, security, and efficiency of financial systems. You’ll lead system upgrades and enhancements, develop reporting tools, and provide training and support to build capability across the organisation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining financial systems and related hierarchies
- Ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility through effective governance
- Leading system implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
- Developing reports and dashboards to support informed business decisions
- Identifying automation opportunities to streamline processes
- Providing user training, support, and technical expertise
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Strong experience as a Finance Systems Accountant or Finance Systems Analyst
- Experience with financial software (PowerBI, CoPilot, Ellipse, Altus, Mondelio desirable)
- Demonstrated project management experience in system implementations/upgrades
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience providing training and systems support to diverse stakeholders
