Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is proudly partnering confidentially with a state government organisation to source an experienced Finance Systems Specialist for a 6-month casual-based contract.
This role will see you play a pivotal part in supporting financial and payroll systems, ensuring compliance with accounting, tax, and legislative requirements while driving process improvement across finance and HR systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist advice on finance systems and related processes.
- Support upgrades, enhancements, and user acceptance testing across TechOne.
- Identify system improvement opportunities and assist in developing business cases.
- Deliver training and documentation to end-users to support system functionality.
- Ensure system access, audit compliance, and risk management protocols are upheld.
- Partner with finance stakeholders to streamline workflows and enhance reporting accuracy.
About You:
- Strong experience in finance systems, or systems testing (preferably within an insurance or government environment).
- Experience using TechnologyOne (Mandatory)
- A strong understanding of accounting, auditing, and financial management standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver practical system solutions.
- Confidence in coaching and training end-users, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to build relationships across multiple teams.
