FP&A Analyst | Brisbane + 2 Days WFH 

About the company:
Alchemy is partnered with one of Australia’s largest producers of metallurgical coal in their search for an experienced FP&A Analyst. This role is based in the Brisbane head office, offering 2 Days work from home, Mon – Fri in a permanent full-time position.
  
Duties and responsibilities:
  
As a FP&A Analyst, your main responsibility lies in ensuring the development of financial clarity for the client. Your specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  

  • Support Management by consolidating forecasts and analysing data/ trends to compare performance against financial targets.
  • Assist with preparation of financial presentations for executive leadership/ stakeholders
  • Monitor & analyse financial performance metrics, KPIs, and drivers of business growth
  • Prepare monthly management financial reporting to the Board/ELT
  • Assist in developing budget processes by planning and monitoring deliverables from teams
  • Gather data, perform analysis, and support business initiatives

  
  
Skills & Experience Required:

  • Postgraduate in CA/CPA/CFA
  • 5+ Years experience in a similar role, working in a large matrix organisation
  • Proficiency in Financial Analysis tools, modelling and data visualization tools
  • Power BI – Create and Build reports
  • Experience with Oracle and/or SAP ERP is favourable
