Alchemy is partnering with a leading mining operation in the Bowen Basin to recruit an experienced Human Resources professional for an initial temporary contract opportunity.
This role will suit a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams and thrives in a fast-paced resources environment.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide broad HR support across the site, partnering with leaders to deliver effective people solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing generalist HR support to site leadership and employees
- Lead recruitment on an end to end function for site based roles
- Assisting with employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary processes, and performance management
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities
- Advising supervisors and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
- Assisting with site-based HR initiatives and workforce engagement activities
- Maintaining accurate HR documentation and employee records
- Supporting compliance with company policies and industrial instruments
About You
- Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
- Previous experience in a HR Generalist or HR Advisor role
- Exposure to mining, resources, construction, or heavy industry environments (highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practice
- Experience supporting employee relations and workplace investigations
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a site-based operational environment
