This is a full-time permanent role and an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Manager or HR Superintendent ready to step up into a broader leadership role, owning the full people and culture function at site level.

About the Role
You will lead all HR functions at the Mount Morgan Project, shaping workforce capability, strengthening culture, and ensuring compliance across all employment and industrial relations requirements. This is a hands-on leadership role with real influence across a growing operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end HR delivery across site
- Partner with operational leaders on workforce planning, succession and capability building
- Manage employee relations including performance, conduct and grievance matters
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding and retention with a strong focus on local employment
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies and HR systems
- Drive learning, training and leadership development initiatives
- Support cultural development and leadership alignment across site teams
- Deliver HR reporting, metrics and insights to support decision-making
- Align site HR practices with broader corporate frameworks
About You
- Degree qualified in HR, Business or related field
- 8+ years HR experience, ideally including site-based or operational exposure in mining or heavy industry
- Strong understanding of Australian employment law and industrial relations
- Proven ability to design and deliver practical HR strategies in operational environments
- Experience with HR systems, reporting and workforce analytics
- Hands-on, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach with strong communication skills
