We’re looking for an experienced Information Management Manager to lead how we manage, protect and use information across one of Australia’s largest Infrastructure projects.
As the Information Management Manager, you’ll oversee the development and maintenance of IM (Information Management) Governance and use of related information systems to ensure that information is accurate, accessible, secure and compliant with relevant legislation and standards.
The primary focus of this role is Information Management and Records Management.
You’ll be required to manage the complexity of IM to ensure efficient ways to organise, store and analyse data with attention to quality, security and confidentiality. With a strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 Environment, you’ll leverage excellent troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge to drive effective and practical IM practices and processes.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain the Information Management Strategy in line with corporate policies
- Work with the ICT team to plan and deliver the right technology and systems across the business
- Ensure compliance with data protection, records management and governance requirements
- Lead audits, reviews and risk assessments to maintain high information standards
- Create and implement policies and processes for efficient, secure data handling and sharing
- Oversee the full IM lifecycle — from creation through to archiving or secure disposal — ensuring compliance with Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems
- Utilise your strong technical knowledge, practical mindset and proven IM experience to drive better performance and outcomes.
The skills you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in Information Management and Records Management within large and/or complex organisations
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 platforms
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- A proactive approach to data security, compliance and continuous improvement
