Intelligence Analyst

About the Role:
A large federal government department is seeking Intelligence Analysts to join a dynamic team. You will contribute to critical intelligence projects, analysing complex information to support strategic decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse, evaluate, and interpret intelligence and financial data to support investigations.
  • Contribute to the development of actionable intelligence reports and strategic products.
  • Lead and manage tactical intelligence projects, including planning and coordination of tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and share key learnings.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, policy, and information security requirements.

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in intelligence analysis, fraud, or investigative environments.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Experience leading projects or teams in a structured environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain Baseline security clearance (and higher if required).
  • Completion of a national police check and, where required, organisational suitability assessments.
