Maintenance Planner – Mobile Plant
$160 – $180k + super | ASX-Listed Mining Company | Site based DIDO | 9 day fortnight
Plan and schedule maintenance for mobile fleet assets. Workshop-based role with travel to site when required. Long-term, stable position.
The Company
Our client is a major ASX-listed mining company with strong production, a growing asset base, and a high-performing maintenance function. They operate a centralised workshop where all machines across their operations come for repairs and scheduled maintenance.
The Role
A full-time, permanent position supporting fleet maintenance and workshop operations. You’ll plan and schedule the ongoing maintenance program for the mobile plant ensuring equipment is available, reliable, and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule workshop and fleet maintenance activities
- Coordinate repairs for all mobile machines
- Support shutdown and major rebuild planning
- Manage inventory levels and critical spares for the workshop
- Allocate and support Field Service Fitter crews
- Liaise with site, vendors and procurement teams
- Raise work orders, track backlogs, and monitor compliance
- Support reporting, cost tracking and asset performance reviews
- Report directly to the Workshop Manager

About You
- 5 + Maintenance planning experience in mining
- Strong knowledge of mobile fleet and heavy equipment
- JD Edwards or similar CMMS experience
- Trade or engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Strong organisation, communication and planning capability
