Maintenance Planner – Mobile Plant

Our client is a leading ASX-listed mining company with established operations in Australia and South Africa. With strong production performance and exciting expansion plans in Central Queensland, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to support a key asset from their Brisbane head office.
About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Brisbane, working Monday to Friday with monthly travel to site or during major shutdowns. You’ll play a vital role in planning and scheduling maintenance across mobile plant, hired equipment, and a dragline fleet-ensuring efficient, cost-effective asset performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain maintenance schedules across all assets
- Collaborate with site teams to align planning with production needs
- Raise work orders, manage backlogs, and track compliance
- Liaise with vendors, manage procurement, and oversee cost tracking
- Monitor condition reports and support shutdown planning
- Generate reports and ensure accurate closeout of work

About You
- Experience in maintenance planning within the mining sector
- Exposure to mobile fleet planning
- Competent with Pronto (or similar CMMS)
- Trade or engineering qualifications (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Detail-focused with strong communication and organisational skills
