Onsite Desktop Support (Blackwater, DIDO)

About Our Client 
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a leading mining provider with a global presence to search for an onsite Desktop Support professional to offer technical support at their Blackwater site on a permanent basis, under a 5/2 arrangement.
What You Will Do:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers of the Technology team at the mine site.
  • Communicating technology knowledge and best practices effectively to influence people and deliver superior outcomes.
  • Identifying and recommending opportunities to improve costs and efficiencies through the utilization of technology.
  • Managing technology assets at the mine site to ensure we are getting value from the investment.

What You Will Bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in IT or relevant industry accreditation, desirable.
  • 2 years of experience in Desktop Support or similar roles, preferably within the mining industry.
  • Advanced skills across a suite of Microsoft technologies including, but not limited to, Active Directory, operating systems, and Office 365, with a willingness to further develop business application knowledge.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of IT support.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
