Organisational Development Consultant

Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a leading local government organisation to secure an experienced Organisational Development Specialist for their People and Culture team.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence strategic OD initiatives at scale within a complex, multi-disciplinary workforce.

About the Opportunity
In this pivotal role, you’ll shape, coordinate and deliver organisational development programs that lift capability, strengthen culture and support strategic goals across the organisation. From leadership development to change implementation, you’ll play a key role in bringing people initiatives to life and supporting leaders to successfully embed them.

Working within a highly collaborative OD team, you’ll design workshops, coach leaders, facilitate engagement activities and manage end-to-end change for key organisational initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of OD programs aligned to organisational strategy
  • Facilitate workshops, engagement sessions, focus groups and leadership development activities
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders to support effective adoption of change initiatives
  • Partner with OD Consultants and HR teams to deliver integrated people solutions
  • Analyse emerging OD trends and research to inform contemporary strategies and programs
  • Develop change, communication and engagement plans to support business readiness
  • Build strong internal relationships as a trusted OD professional and culture champion
  • Prepare high-quality reports, presentations and written communications
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within People & Culture

About You

  • Degree qualifications in Psychology, HR, Behavioural Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated experience delivering OD, change or culture-focused programs in a large organisation
  • Strong capability in facilitation, stakeholder engagement and coaching senior leaders
  • Experience managing complex people-related projects from design to implementation
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team
  • Change management experience or qualifications will be highly regarded
