Payroll Officer

Overview:
Alchemy Recruitment is pleased to announce a new contract opportunity based in the Brisbane CBD for a Payroll/Finance Admin. This is working with a Local Government organization providing payroll processing and timesheet/rostering verification for employees.   
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll processing
  • Triage for Payroll Queries
  • Liaising with employees on site and management.
  • Understand current legislation, awards, agreements, policies, and practices.  

Essential Requirements:  

  • Previous finance/payroll admin experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, competing priority environments.
