Project Administrator

Alchemy Recruitment is currently working alongside a successful natural energy resource provider who is seeking an experienced Project Administrator in the Mackay Coal Fields region.

Role Description:
As a Project Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our client’s site activities. This position is not just administrative; it requires a proactive, organized individual who can effectively manage various tasks in a busy project setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, lodging, training sessions, and induction programs to guarantee compliance of all candidates before mobilisation.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and keep precise records and correspondence for meetings.
  • Procurement tasks and cost tracking
  • Performance Metric reporting and updating visual dashboards
  • Reporting portfolio updates to stakeholders
  • Assisting with payment portals and processing purchase orders
  • Plan and coordinate team functions
  • Ensuring all administrative functions are performed to the highest standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in project administration, ideally within mining or resources/ Construction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Experience SAP (ideal but not required)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in administrative and financial software systems.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Current C class driving licence

In return, you can expect to take on a long-term contract role with a top-tier mining company located in the Mackay Coal Fields Region. This role includes local residential or DIDO arrangments to site and involves reporting to the Project Superintendent. You can expect to work 12-hour days with a highly competitive hourly rate. You will enjoy working in a collaborative office and be part of a friendly team culture. The position offers a 4:4/4:2 roster with 4-day workweek (Monday to Thurs), and the camp is conveniently located near the mine with a bus. There is some work-from-home flexibility from time to time.
