Project Supervisor – Water Infrastructure
Location: Bowen Basin | Roster: Monday to Friday | Travel: FIFO/DIDO options
Key Points:
• Deliver water pipeline projects across multiple sites
• Contractor supervision + strong SHMS focus
• Civil and piping scope with stakeholder coordination
• FIFO or DIDO flexibility from regional QLD
• Long-term capital works pipeline
We’re seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to oversee the execution of water infrastructure projects across the Bowen Basin. This role is key in ensuring safety, quality, and effective contractor performance while coordinating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising contractors in line with SHMS and safety systems
- Supporting the Project Manager with scope, schedule, and quality reviews
- Managing risk and quality plans during execution
- Coordinating with operations to reduce disruption during works
- Liaising with councils, landholders, and utilities during project delivery
- Assisting with onboarding and site mobilisation of contractors
Competencies and experience
- 5+ years in construction, mining, or project delivery
- Civil and piping experience highly regarded
- Strong safety leadership and contractor supervision background
- Sound knowledge of Australian standards and compliance
- Great communication and stakeholder management skills
