Overview:
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is working with local government entity to secure a Sampling Officer for this 4-month opportunity. The role will be responsible for collecting water samples for the Local Water Pollution control centre.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform field-based testing, in accordance with established procedures and maintain accurate record keeping of results, observations and required control information.
- Collect drinking water, wastewater and environmental water samples in the field from locations within the local areas.
- Assist in maintaining the sample receival area of the laboratory in a clean and tidy state.
Essential Requirements:
- Cert II Sampling & Measurement Cert IV Laboratory Technology
- Must agree to be vaccinated for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Tetanus and Q-fever or willing to be vaccinated.
- Driver’s License
