Overview:
Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is working with a Queensland government to secure a Senior Privacy Officer for a 6-month opportunity. This position will provide high level privacy advice regarding risk, strategies, policies and other compliance regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and investigate privacy complaints and breaches, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Report findings and recommend remedial actions to relevant parties.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to uphold privacy practices according to regulations and best practices.
- Oversee privacy impact assessments for ICT and non-ICT projects, identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Perform additional privacy-related tasks as needed.
Essential Requirements:
- Minium 3 years’ experience investigating and managing privacy under the Commonweath or Queensland privacy.
- Prior experience in providing high level privacy advice to senior management.
- Knowledge of the Commonwealth Queensland Privacy legislation.
