Overview:

This position focuses on the internal and external communications. It is responsible for effective engagement to enhance the customer experience through targeted and responsive communications, including content development for written and video, achieving high quality outcomes for Council and the Logan community.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice to divisional councillors and stakeholders with regard to the communications required to assist RID road and drainage infrastructure projects
- Ensure the planning and delivery of communications and community engagement strategies support the Corporate Plan priorities and contribute positively to Council’s reputation
- Responsible for the development of communications and community engagement activities associated with RID infrastructure projects.
What would make you successful
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications coupled with substantial experience in the development and implementation of strategic and operational stakeholder engagement programs across complex infrastructure projects
- IAP2 Certificate in Public Participation / IAP2 Certificate of Engagement is desirable.
- Thorough knowledge of community engagement and experience in developing and implementing community engagement strategies across complex infrastructure projects
