Senior Project Engineer | CHPP Studies | Brisbane-Based | Contract

Overview
Seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support early-stage study delivery across a brownfield Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP) program. This is an owner’s side role focused on study phases, working across multiple sites with a Brisbane base.

Key Responsibilities

Provide owner’s side project engineering support across study phases
Develop key engineering documentation:
User Requirements (UR)
Scope of Work (SOW)
Basis of Scope / Basis of Design (BOS/BOD)
Engineering Management Plan (EMP)
Manage engineering scope, cost, schedule, and quality during studies
Interface with internal study teams and supporting functions
Act as the key link with external Engineering Service Providers
Drive engineering value outcomes and study optimisation
Support planning and delivery of SID outcomes

About You

8–10+ years Project Engineering experience
Strong background in CHPP / coal processing environments (must have)
Proven experience on brownfield projects
Exposure to early study phases (IPS, SPS, DPS highly regarded)
Confident working owner’s side with strong stakeholder engagement
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a study environment
