Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is seeking a Student Engineer (Electrical) on a casual contract basis for a Queensland Government organisation located in Nerang, Gold Coast.
About this role:
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting a variety of electrical and transport technology projects. This is a great chance to build your skills in a real-world environment while working alongside experienced engineers.
- Help maintain and improve traffic control and lighting systems
- Support technical tasks related to electrical and communication networks
- Assist in managing infrastructure assets to keep the transport system running smoothly
- Collaborate with different teams to ensure projects stay on track
- Gain practical insights into the delivery and maintenance of road technology
What we’re looking for:
- Enrolled in an engineering degree with an electrical focus
- Motivated to learn and develop technical skills in transport systems
- Able to communicate clearly and work well with others
- Holds a valid driver’s licence and construction induction (White Card)
- Prepared to follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment
