We are looking to expand our team and have an opportunity for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our dynamic thriving team.

About the role:

In this role you will be managing end-to-end candidate engagement for permanent white-collar roles on an established desk within the mining sector across the East Coast of Australia. 

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Source and attract candidates through various channels, including our database, SEEK, and LinkedIn
  • Conduct sales calls to present career opportunities to potential candidates for jobs
  • Conduct phone screens, interviews and assessments to identify suitable candidates for client requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships candidates
  • Over time, manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial contact to successful placement
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs

What we’re looking for: 

  • Proven B2B sales experience or prior experience in recruitment (agency or internal)
  • Strong commercial mindset with a genuine interest in sales, targets, and commission-driven environments.
  • Excellent communication skills – confident engaging with clients and candidates over phone, email, and in person
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and industry professionals
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Resilient, driven, and motivated – comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-focused environment
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand technical roles within the mining and resources sector
