    About the role:
    Our client is looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join their team on a permanent role on LNG infrastructure projects in Central Queensland. This role will see you play a pivotal part in the successful delivery of critical infrastructure on a mine site. You will ideally have previous experience with contractors, specifically in road construction and earthworks within the mining sector. This is a FIFO position on an 18/10 roster.
      
    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the execution of various civil scopes.
    • Coordinate and liaise with project stakeholders, ensuring project requirements are met.
    • Implement and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
    • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
    • Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring performance and delivery meet project specifications.

    Skills & experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
    • Previous site based experience working with a civil or resources contractor
    • Proven track record of delivering projects for civil infrastructure or heavy industrial brownfield sites  
    • Exposure to electrical scopes of works
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Senior Security System Analyst – Secret Management

    About Our Client & The Role
    Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is partnering with a federal government department to search for a Senior Cyber Security System Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract with view of extension.

    To be successful for this engagement, you’ll be an experienced Cyber Security Business Systems Analyst that has proven knowledge in Secrets Management, Cybersecurity Best Practices, systems/platforms security, authentication and DevOps/DevSecOps.

    This role is based in their Brisbane CBD office with 3 days WFH and 2 days WFO.

    What You Will Do

    • Secrets Management Implementation: Lead the design and configuration of HashiCorp Vault solutions; Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor solutions based on needs.
    • Technical Systems Analysis: Analyse and enhance systems across DevSecOps, CI/CD, applications, infrastructure, and security; Develop and document specifications using UML and BPMN.
    • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and assess credential usage risks and propose mitigation strategies.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to elicit requirements and support product onboarding.
    • Continuous Improvement: Develop a strategy to quickly upskill in Services Australia’s technologies.

    What You Will Bring: 

    • Must be Australian citizen and have Negative Vetting Level 1
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Relevant certifications in Systems Analysis, Cybersecurity, or IT Management are desirable.
    • Proven experience in working with secrets management solutions and cyber security in complex ICT environments, particularly with HashiCorp Vault.
    • Strong experience engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Strong knowledge of secrets management concepts, including authentication methods, system integrations, and configuration.
    • Comprehensive technical experience across a variety of capabilities, including DevSecOps, CI/CD, applications, infrastructure, security, and integration

  • Project Engineer/Manager

    Alchemy Recruitment is currently working alongside a successful natural energy resource provider who is seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer/Manager to assist them at their open cut coal mine in the Mackay Coal Fields.

    • Plan, coordinate and prepare project deliverables required to initiate, develop and execute assigned projects related to surface  infrastructure related to haul roads, tailings damn etc.

    • Engage with stakeholders to investigate requirements, obtain inputs, identify risks and understand the context
    • Contribute to the portfolio and team delivery strategies

    • A minimum of 5-10 years experience delivering projects within a brownfield coal mining environment, ideally haul roads, dams, tailings etc. 
    • Sound understanding of the Front-End Loading processes
    • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering preferred or Project Management.
    • Strong background and proven track record in projects,
    • Strong project documentation skills
    • Strong stakeholder management skills
    • The ability to manage the engineering design process and prepare project deliverables including; scope of work, specifications, execution plans, cost estimates and schedule

There is a generous hourly rate along with, camp accommodation. This position reports to the Portfolio Lead and will deliver projects in the Mine Portfolio of up to 20M USD.

The purpose of this role is to provide specialist quality advice and end to end case management on all matters (including escalated and complex matters from other Officers) associated with information access legislation, privacy compliance, administrative and other complaint reviews or investigations, insurance claims and ethical matters.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide advice, guidance and education to other branches regarding governance, integrity and information services and practices.
    • Investigate, analyse and determine liability of Council in all claims made against Council including exercising judgment based on sound insurance law and tort knowledge.
    • Prepare a variety of correspondence, including decision notices under the RTI and IP Acts in accordance with relevant legislation, and correspondence to internal stakeholders or external stakeholders

    Essential Requirements:

    • Well developed knowledge and extensive practical experience in dealing with information access legislation, privacy compliance, complaints management (including administrative action complaints, public interest disclosures, privacy, human rights, and fraud and corruption), insurance claims and ethical matters.
    • Demonstrated experience in assessing Right to Information, Information Privacy and Evidence Act applications, including the ability to interpret and apply the applicable legislation.
    • Proven ability to provide technical advice about Information and Integrity matters and communicate complex issues in plain language for various audiences.

This role is the lead for provision of site maintenance services for a solar farm near Collinsville Queensland, offering relocation assistance.
      
    Working a 36.25 hour week on a Monday to Friday basis you will be responsible for:

    • Lead and implement day to day and long-term operational and planning activities.
    • Lead and support a small site team and local sub-contractors.
    • Contribute to creating and implementing maintenance procedures and schedules specific to the site.
    • Oversee documentation, including the preparation, tracking, completion, and recording of maintenance work orders.
    • Preventive maintenance, and installation activities for the site.
    • Comply with statutory or Health Safety and Environmental requirements.
    • Timely response to corrective maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, diagnose and correct of faults.

    Essential Requirements:

    • Prior experience in electrical maintenance within heavy industrial environments
    • Demonstrated leadership experience
    • Basic knowledge of asset management principles
    • Electrical Trade certificate and Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence
    • HVO Switching Officer Certificate – Preferred
    • Advanced knowledge in using Microsoft Suite and CMMS
